4/10

Therapy went well today. They made a mold so to speak that looks like a big blob of bubble gum that fits in her largest wound which will help to flatten out the scar. She will wear over the wound 8 hours per day with a compression sock over it. They did ultra sound therapy and scar therapy massage. Then they tried some shock therapy for the muscles and we couldn't figure out if the machine wasn't functioning properly (which appeared to be new) or if the muscles and sensation just aren't there yet. I'm sure Albert will keep trying the next time she has a therapy session.

Mom received a very nice email from her granddaughter Kirsten this week. She loves hearing from you Kirsten. She hasn't gotten on the computer personally yet but as soon as she does I'll let her know that she needs to write you back. She's very proud of the woman you've become and feels very loved by you!

Mom also received a beautiful hand crocheted scarf from Sarah Bonet, a consultant on my team from Fort White, Florida. Sarah asked me if mom liked a certain color a few weeks back and said she'd be sending Mom a gift, I had no idea she would take the time out of her life to make Mom something so nice. Sarah is a sweetheart!

I'm going to take a video of Mom this weekend so that she can say hello to everyone and let them know how she is doing.

Happy Easter to everyone from Mom, The McDavid's, and Zack!
