Mom's evaluation went fairly well yesterday. I have some videos to share later, of course. She has been in a little better spirits too for the past few days. We've been so busy that I haven't had a chance to update the blog. Everyone is busy so I'm sure you can relate.

Albert, her therapist, put her index finger on the right hand in a buddy brace which "connects" it to the other fingers. This is to try to make the index finger stay up with the others without having to wear a full blown brace. She's been doing therapy on the right arm only until the left shoulder can be evaluated for physical therapy. Her left wrist has been hurting quite a bit. She is going to have to consider that surgery for the SLAC wrist if the pain doesn't go away.

Mom is still getting cards from friends and family. Debbie sends CD's from church regularly. Cousin Barbara is going to come up from Stuart tomorrow and visit. We are going to go to the Strawberry Tea Room for lunch and then visit for the afternoon. Mom is looking forward to the visit.
