I'm sure I'll be writing later I just wanted to share what Gina, one of the nurses aides that was on staff the night she came in said about that night. She said that mom's injuries were so bad that they had to get her out of the emergency room so the transferred her to the surgical unit. When she came up to her room Gina said they had cotton blankets wrapped around her arms, which had already been dressed, and she was bleeding through the blankets, the blood was actually dripping off the stretcher. She said she had never seen anything like it. They had to compress and redress the arms to control the bleeding. It is so upsetting and frustrating to know that she didn't have to experience this at all and it could've been prevented.

Tomorrow at 2:00 PM she has surgery for the skin graph then she will go to a nursing home until the skin graph takes and then we will start off to Florida. Paul's brother is a physical therapist we are going to call today to get his recommendation for a CHT (Certified Hand Therapist and Hand surgery specialist).

Mike has to have surgery on his finger again tomorrow, I believe it is infected but I'm not sure what they are going to do during the surgery. Unfortunately it's at a different hospital than the one Mom's in.

Mom's not feeling well today, nauseated. However she is sitting up in the chair today for much longer than what she has done so far.
